Soulscape Magazine by Art of Healing I Mothers Day Edition

The Strength Behind Their Smiles  I  A Tribute to two Mothers Who Heal Communities with Vision, Strength, and Compassion

In today’s fast-moving world, many people spend their lives searching for success, recognition, and personal achievements. Yet there are some rare souls who choose a different path — a path of healing, awareness, compassion, and service for others. These individuals work not only for themselves but for the betterment of society and the emotional growth of communities around them. This special Mother’s Day edition of The Positive Healing Vibes is dedicated to two inspiring women whose journeys reflect strength, positivity, and purpose: Tehmina and Zahra Shahraz.

Both women come from different professional backgrounds, yet their vision is deeply connected. Their mission is not limited to personal success; instead, they have created platforms that uplift women, encourage awareness, support emotional growth, and build confidence among individuals trying to find their place in society.

Madam Tehmina, through her platform Mindful Moments, has dedicated herself to parenting awareness and emotional development for children and families. In a time where many parents struggle with balancing emotional connection and modern-day pressures, her work acts as a guiding light. She believes that strong parenting creates emotionally healthy generations, and through her sessions and community work, she continues to educate parents on understanding children with compassion, patience, and mindfulness. Her efforts are helping families reconnect emotionally in a society where genuine communication is slowly fading.

On the other hand, Madam Zahra Shahraz founded Dream Team Womens with the vision of empowering women through networking, visibility, and support. She has worked tirelessly to promote female-led businesses both through physical events and online marketing platforms. Her work has created opportunities for countless women who dream of becoming financially independent, creatively expressive, and socially confident. Through exhibitions, awareness events, and collaborative sessions, she has helped women believe in their potential and step forward with courage.

I personally had the opportunity to meet these inspiring women during an event where I invited them as guests. What began as a professional interaction later became a source of inspiration for me as I observed their positivity, dedication, and sincerity toward society. In a world where many people speak about change, these women quietly work every day to create it. From organizing sessions from scratch to managing communities and encouraging women emotionally and professionally, their commitment reflects true leadership.

The reality of today’s society is that many people are silently struggling with emotional stress, loneliness, anxiety, and personal challenges. Despite facing their own hardships and difficulties in life, these two women continue to move forward with smiles on their faces. That smile itself becomes healing for others. Their energy, positivity, and presence act as catalysts for change and hope within society.

What makes their journey truly meaningful is not perfection but persistence. Like every strong woman, they have faced challenges, criticism, emotional battles, and societal pressures. Yet instead of allowing those experiences to break them, they transformed them into motivation to help others heal and grow. This is the true essence of motherhood and womanhood — nurturing not only families but also communities, dreams, and emotional wellbeing.

Through awareness sessions, motivational gatherings, community engagement, and support platforms, they are bringing new perspectives into society. They are teaching people the importance of empathy, emotional intelligence, mindful living, and collective growth. Their efforts remind us that healing does not only happen in therapy rooms or books; sometimes healing happens through kind words, supportive communities, shared experiences, and people who genuinely care.

This Mother’s Day, The Positive Healing Vibes proudly honors these two intellectual and compassionate women for their contribution toward society. Their journeys inspire countless others to believe that true success lies not only in personal achievement but also in creating positive impact in the lives of others.

To Madam Tehmina and madam Zahra Shahraz — thank you for choosing compassion over competition, awareness over ignorance, and community over self-interest. Your work continues to inspire positivity, healing, and hope in a world that deeply needs it.

This edition stands as a heartfelt appreciation for two beautiful, intelligent, and visionary women who continue to make society brighter through their dedication, strength, and humanity.

A Daughter's Beauty, A Mother's Strength: Celebrating Dr. Sundas Basharat

This Mother's Day, we extend our heartfelt tribute to a woman whose presence is as impactful as it is inspiring. Dr. Sundas Basharat, a pH.D doctor and a shining example of a modern-day professional, embodies the very essence of strength, dedication, and boundless love. While her professional achievements are commendable, it is her role as a mother that truly defines the depth of her character and the generosity of her soul.

We had the privilege of meeting Dr. Basharat during a session of "Art of Healing," where we were immediately struck by her poise and her unwavering commitment to bringing positivity into the lives of others. Her desire to contribute to the betterment of society is not merely a professional goal but a deeply held conviction that guides her every action. Whether she is leading a project, mentoring students, or advocating for truth, Dr. Basharat's dedication is palpable. Her ability to inspire and motivate those around her is a testament to her inherent leadership qualities and her genuine concern for the well-being of others.

In the academic realm, Dr. Basharat is a force to be reckoned with. Her knowledge and expertise are matched only by her passion for teaching. Students who have had the privilege of learning from her speak of her with a sense of dignity and respect that is rare to find. She not only imparts knowledge but also instills a sense of purpose and a commitment to integrity in her students. Her dedication to fighting for truth, even in the face of adversity, is a shining example for future generations.

Yet, despite her demanding career and her numerous responsibilities, Dr. Basharat's most profound and cherished role is that of a mother. Her connection with her daughter, Fatima, is a testament to the transformative power of a mother's love. We have had the pleasure of witnessing this beautiful bond firsthand, and it is a sight to behold. Fatima is not just Dr. Basharat's daughter; she is the center of her universe, her source of inspiration, and her greatest achievement.

The way Dr. Basharat cares for Fatima is a beautiful reflection of her selfless nature. It is a love that transcends all boundaries, a love that is unconditional and unchanging. For Dr. Basharat, Fatima's beauty lies not just in her appearance but in her kind and compassionate nature towards others. Fatima's success is Dr. Basharat's success, and her daughter's caring towards others is her greatest source of pride.

Balancing a demanding career with the responsibilities of motherhood is no easy feat, yet Dr. Basharat manages to do it with grace and resilience. She is a shining example of a woman who can have it all – a successful career, a loving family, and a meaningful impact on the world around her. Her ability to nurture and guide Fatima while simultaneously excelling in her professional endeavors is a testament to her strength and her unwavering commitment to both her family and her calling.

This Mother's Day, we honor Dr. Sundas Basharat for being a beacon of light in a world that often feels dark. May her story serve as an inspiration to all women, reminding us that we have the power to create a meaningful life, balance multiple roles, and leave a lasting legacy of love and compassion.

Dr. Sundas Basharat is a remarkable woman whose life is a symphony of professional grace and maternal devotion. Her story is a testament to the fact that motherhood and professional success are not mutually exclusive but can beautiful intertwine to create a life of purpose and fulfillment. This Mother's Day, we extend our deepest gratitude to Dr. Basharat and all mothers who continue to inspire, nurture, and change the world one loving action at a time.

The Conflict Between Desire and Surrender: A Gentle Reckonin

Because healing is not in holding tighter— It’s in learning to open your hands.

The Conflict Between Desire and Surrender: A Gentle Reckoning

Written for “The Art of Healing”

We are creatures of longing.

We long for love, for certainty, for home. We craft visions of the future with careful hope—sometimes attaching our peace to outcomes we can’t control. And in that space between what we desire and what unfolds, a quiet conflict often brews: the tension between desire and surrender.

This is not a battle of opposites, but a conversation between heart and soul. And learning to sit with both is an art of healing.

 When Desire Becomes Attachment

Desire in itself is not wrong. In fact, it’s deeply human. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ loved, longed, grieved, and prayed for things he deeply hoped for. Desire becomes a wound, however, when it hardens into attachment—the kind that says, “If I don’t have this, I won’t be okay.”

We begin to wrap our identities around people, plans, or prayers we want answered. And when they don’t arrive—or arrive differently—we spiral into confusion or spiritual fatigue.

But surrender isn’t about giving up. It’s about giving back what was never ours to begin with.

 Surrender: The Language of Tawakkul

Tawakkul is the Arabic word for trustful reliance upon Allah. But it’s not passive waiting. It is action wrapped in trust, effort infused with humility.

It is planting the seed and watering it, while accepting that the harvest is not yours to command.

To surrender is to say:

“Ya Allah, I will show up. I will strive. I will pray from the core of my being.
But I release the outcome to You, because You see what I cannot.”

That surrender isn’t weakness. It’s the highest form of strength. It’s not a resignation, but a returning. A coming home to the truth that nothing written for you will miss you, and nothing missed you unless it was never yours.

Living in the Tension: Holding Both

What if we didn’t see desire and surrender as enemies, but as companions?

The truth is: healing begins when we allow ourselves to want without needing to possess.

You can want love, and still say “Ya Allah, write for me only what brings me closer to You.”

You can long for a specific dream, and still say “If it is good, bring it near; if not, place ease in its absence.”

This is the spiritual maturity that Tawakkul invites: to hold the desire in one hand, and surrender in the other, and walk forward with both—balanced and brave.

 The Beauty of the Unwritten

Sometimes the most profound healing comes not from what you receive, but from what you release.

Letting go of the illusion of control.
Letting go of timelines, outcomes, and expectations.
Letting go of the belief that peace only comes after you get what you want.

True peace comes when your heart no longer demands answers—it simply trusts the One who knows them.

A Prayer for the One Who’s Waiting

To you, the one in waiting:
May you be granted what is best, even if it's not what you hoped for.
May your du’as be answered in ways that heal more than they hurt.
May your surrender never feel like a loss, but a lightening.
And may you always remember—
That even the waiting is a form of worship,
And even the letting go is part of the love.

Because healing is not in holding tighter—
It’s in learning to open your hands.

Concept of Meditation in Islam

Concept of Meditation in Islam

In Islam, meditation is not just about relaxation or mental calm—it is a deep, conscious connection with the Divine. It is a state of presence with Allah (God), achieved through various spiritual practices that foster awareness, inner peace, and spiritual clarity.

1. Tafakkur (تفكر) – Deep Reflection

Tafakkur means to reflect or ponder. The Qur'an repeatedly encourages believers to reflect on the signs of Allah in the universe, in their own selves, and in the creation around them. This act of mindful contemplation is a powerful Islamic form of meditation.

“Indeed, in the creation of the heavens and the earth and the alternation of the night and the day are signs for those of understanding.”
(Qur’an 3:190)

2. Tadabbur (تدبر) – Contemplation on the Qur’an

Tadabbur involves deeply contemplating the meanings of the Qur’an. It’s not just reading the words, but pausing, absorbing, and internalizing their essence. This spiritual reflection opens the heart and aligns it with divine guidance.

3. Dhikr (ذکر) – Remembrance of Allah

Dhikr is perhaps the closest Islamic practice to traditional meditation. It involves the repetition of Divine names, phrases like “SubhanAllah,” “Alhamdulillah,” or “La ilaha illallah,” often synchronized with breathing or performed silently in the heart.

“Verily, in the remembrance of Allah do hearts find rest.”
(Qur’an 13:28)

4. Muraqabah (مراقبة) – Watchfulness & Inner Awareness

Muraqabah is a Sufi practice of spiritual mindfulness, being in a state of watchfulness, knowing that Allah is always observing. It involves sitting in silence, focusing the heart on Allah, and listening inwardly—similar to meditative awareness in other traditions.

5. Sujood (Prostration) – Physical and Spiritual Surrender

The position of sujood in prayer is a form of spiritual surrender and humility. The stillness in sujood allows the heart to soften and enter a meditative state, fostering a deep sense of submission and peace.

 Islamic Meditation Is...

  • Allah-centered instead of self-centered

  • Reflective rather than emptying the mind

  • Active remembrance rather than passive stillness

  • A path to inner peace through submission

Islamic Meditation & Chakra Healing: A Holistic Spiritual Alignment

While the term "chakra" comes from ancient Indian traditions, the concept of energy centers within the body is deeply universal. In Islam, though we do not use the word “chakra,” the spiritual heart (qalb), soul (ruh), and nafs (self) are recognized as centers of inner energy and consciousness.

Islamic meditation practices—Tafakkur, Dhikr, Muraqabah, and Salah—nurture these inner realms and can lead to the same balance and healing that chakra practices aim to achieve.

7 Chakras and Their Reflection in Islamic Spiritual Practices

1. Root Chakra (Security & Grounding)

  • Islamic Practice: Salah (especially sujood), tawakkul (trust in Allah)

  • Effect: Builds inner stability and safety through surrender to Divine will

“And whoever puts their trust in Allah – then He is sufficient for him.” (Qur’an 65:3)

2. Sacral Chakra (Creativity & Emotions)

  • Islamic Practice: Gratitude (shukr), halal self-expression, du'a

  • Effect: Balances desires, opens emotional flow through faith and moderation

3. Solar Plexus Chakra (Confidence & Willpower)

  • Islamic Practice: Fasting, intention (niyyah), discipline of the nafs

  • Effect: Builds self-mastery, courage, and aligns willpower with divine purpose

4. Heart Chakra (Love & Compassion)

  • Islamic Practice: Dhikr, forgiveness, compassion (rahma), charity (sadaqah)

  • Effect: Opens the heart through love for Allah and His creation

“He has placed love and mercy between your hearts.” (Qur’an 30:21)

5. Throat Chakra (Communication & Truth)

  • Islamic Practice: Speaking truth, reciting Qur’an, husn al-khulq (good character)

  • Effect: Clears blocked expression by aligning speech with honesty and ethics

6. Third Eye Chakra (Intuition & Insight)

  • Islamic Practice: Tafakkur, muraqabah, seeking knowledge ('ilm)

  • Effect: Enhances spiritual insight, clarity, and deep understanding of life

“Indeed, it is not the eyes that are blind, but the hearts.” (Qur’an 22:46)

7. Crown Chakra (Divine Connection)

  • Islamic Practice: Dhikr, salah, muraqabah, contemplation of Allah’s attributes

  • Effect: Fosters unity with the Creator, spiritual awakening, and peace

How Islamic Meditation Supports Chakra Healing

Through:

  • Mindful breathing in dhikr – Calms the nervous system and energizes inner centers

  • Regular prayer and sujood – Grounds the body and soul, aligning posture and energy

  • Tawakkul and surrender – Releases mental blocks and fear

  • Gratitude and remembrance – Raise vibrational energy, dissolving inner stagnation

Rather than awakening energy for self-power, Islamic meditation aims to purify the soul and align it with Divine Light (Noor)—a healing energy that flows through a balanced, spiritually-attuned heart.

“Allah Hoo Noor-e-Samadt-ul-Ardh”

Bridging Science and Spirituality or recitation, especially of meaningful sounds or   zikr, can alter brainwave activity and emotional states.

“Allah Hoo Noor-e-Samadt-ul-Ardh”

The rhythmic recitation of “Allah Hoo Noor-e-Samadt-ul-Ardh” creates a soothing vibration that calms the mind. As it activates the parasympathetic nervous system, it helps reduce stress and anxiety, allowing the brain to shift from chaos to calm. It’s like a spiritual lullaby for an overwhelmed mind.

A 2020 study published in Frontiers in Psychology reported that participants engaging in rhythmic prayer or recitation experienced increased positive affect and reduced symptoms of anxiety and depression over a sustained period.

Scientific Analysis: The Healing Power of Sacred Sound – “Allah Hoo Noor-e-Samadt-ul-Ardh”

1. The Science of Repetition and Zikr-Based Healing

Scientific studies in neuroscience and cognitive psychology have shown that repetitive chanting or recitation, especially of meaningful sounds or Zikr, can alter brainwave activity and emotional states. The repetition of “Allah Hoo Noor-e-Samadt-ul-Ardh” falls into this category of healing sound.

  •  Zikr activate the parasympathetic nervous system, reducing cortisol (stress hormone) and increasing serotonin and dopamine (happiness hormones).

  • EEG studies show that chanting sacred words brings the brain into theta and alpha states, associated with deep relaxation, emotional regulation, and spiritual awareness.

2. Vibration and Frequency of Divine Names

  • Every word has a frequency, and Arabic — as a phonetic language — is known for its vibrational impact on the body.

  • The Divine Name “Allah” produces a unique vibrational pattern, affecting the heart center (Anahata chakra in Eastern science), which in turn calms the autonomic nervous system.

  • Words like “Noor” (light) and “Samad” (eternal refuge) carry positive vibrations that may help in rebalancing emotional and energetic imbalances within the human body.

In biofield science, sound vibrations interact with the electromagnetic fields of the human body. Chanting spiritually resonant phrases, like this one, helps stabilize chaotic energy and restore the body's natural coherence.

3. The Neuroplasticity of Zikr (Remembrance)

Long-term engagement in Zikr or meditative recitation reshapes the brain through neuroplasticity — the brain’s ability to change structure and function.

  • Regular repetition of “Allah Hoo Noor-e-Samadt-ul-Ardh” can build new neural pathways associated with peace, trust, and presence.

  • Brain imaging studies on spiritual practices (such as Islamic prayer, Sufi whirling, and chanting) show increased activity in the prefrontal cortex (associated with awareness, empathy, and planning) and decreased activity in the amygdala (associated with fear and stress).

4. Light and the Brain: Metaphor Meets Biology

The phrase includes “Noor” (Light), which spiritually refers to divine guidance — but science also supports the role of light in healing:

  • Photons (particles of light) influence mood and circadian rhythm. Similarly, the idea of Divine Noor aligns with mental clarity, balance, and elevated consciousness.

  • Exposure to metaphorical light (i.e., hope, gratitude, faith) increases activation in areas of the brain responsible for positive thought and emotional well-being.

5. Earth (Ardh) and Grounding Psychology

The mention of “Ardh” (Earth) resonates deeply with grounding psychology and eco-therapy:

  • Grounding techniques (barefoot walking on earth, breathing with awareness, spiritual mindfulness) help regulate heart rate variability and improve emotional stability.

  • Spiritually connecting Divine presence with the Earth combines somatic grounding with cosmic connection, offering a holistic healing effect — both body and soul are calmed and elevated.

Bridging Science and Spirituality or recitation, especially of meaningful sounds or Zik, can alter brainwave activity and emotional states. The repetition of

Final Thoughts

The phrase  “Allah Hoo Noor-e-Samadt-ul-Ardh” is more than poetry or zikr. It is a bioenergetic and spiritual system encoded within words. Science validates what Sufi mystics, healers, and spiritual seekers have long known — that sacred sound, divine names, and spiritual grounding have real, measurable healing effects on the body and mind.

It is the rhythm of the soul aligned with the natural frequencies of the universe, bringing about emotional regulation, inner peace, and spiritual awakening.

When Life Feels Heavy: Holistic Remedies to Heal Your Mind, Body, and Spirit

"Hasbiyallahu La Ilaha Illa Huwa 'Alayhi Tawakkaltu – He Alone Is Sufficient for Me"

                   Surah At-Tawbah, 9:129)

When Life Feels Heavy: Holistic Remedies to Heal Your Mind, Body, and Spirit

There are moments in life when everything feels too heavy—your heart aches, your mind races, and the soul feels tired. During such times, healing requires more than logic; it calls for gentleness, belief, and a reconnection with the sacred. Holistic remedies, rooted in ancient traditions and spiritual connection, can help you begin to feel whole again.

Let’s explore what you can do when you're feeling very low, emotionally and spiritually.

Connect with Breath: The Anchor of Life

  • When sadness overwhelms, your breath becomes shallow. Ground yourself by slowing down

  • Inhale deeply for 4 counts, hold for 2, and exhale slowly for 6.

  • Place a hand over your heart and another on your belly as you breathe.

  • This mindful breathing reconnects you with your body and the present, easing the mind.

Nature as Medicine

  • Nature silently absorbs our pain. A quiet walk in the park, sitting by a tree, or watching the waves roll in—these simple acts restore balance.
  • Walk barefoot on grass.

  • Watch the sunset in silence.

  • Sit by the sea and listen—let it wash away the noise in your head.

  • Nature doesn't hurry, yet everything gets done. It reminds you to be patient with your process.

    Sound and Frequency Healing

  • Sound has the power to shift energy. Because our bodies are largely made of water, we naturally respond to vibrations.
  • Practice sound meditation using solfeggio frequencies (e.g., 396 Hz for releasing fear, 528 Hz for inner harmony).

  • Try sea meditation voice beats—recordings of ocean waves, soft winds, and distant birds. Let your imagination take you to that peaceful place.

  • Sound helps calm the nervous system and allows your heart to slow down, syncing you with inner peace.

Color Visualization and Healing

  • Colors influence mood and energy. Use your imagination to surround yourself with healing hues:
  • Visualize soft green light for heart healing.

  • Imagine a warm yellow light filling your mind to reduce anxiety.

  • Wrap yourself in blue or violet light for divine protection and calm.

  • Even wearing certain colors or painting with them can uplift your mood.

Therapeutic Art

  • Pick up a brush, use colors to express what words can’t. Scribble, paint, mold clay—whatever allows your soul to speak without censorship. This is healing in motion.
  • There is no right or wrong—only honesty on canvas.

 Herbal and Natural Remedies

  • Consider healing herbs that soothe the nervous system:
  • Chamomile tea for calming restlessness.

  • Ashwagandha to stabilize mood.

  • Tulsi (Holy Basil) for emotional clarity and spiritual grounding.

  • Let nature assist you gently, without side effects.

Cleansing Energy and Creating Sacred Space

  • Your physical space affects your inner peace. When you're low, cleanse your environment:
  • Burn sage or incense to clear stagnant energy.

  • Rearrange furniture for fresh energy flow.

  • Light a candle and recite Qur'anic verses to bring noor (light) into your space.
  • To feel low doesn’t mean you’re failing. It means you are human. Honor the moment, don’t rush it. Healing is not a race—it is a return.
  • Return to your breath. Return to nature. Return to Allah.
Let the world slow down as you build the strength to rise again.
  • In the words of the Quran:
  • “And rely upon Allah; and sufficient is Allah as Disposer of affairs.”
    (Surah Al-Ahzab, 33:3)

  • You are never alone.
    Your healing is near.

 Spiritual Journaling

  • When the heart is heavy, speak to it through writing. Ask:
  • What am I feeling right now?

  • What is this emotion trying to teach me?

  • Where do I need compassion?

  • Writing helps you release emotions without judgment. It's like giving your inner child a voice.

Faith in Allah: Trusting Divine Wisdom

  • When no remedy seems to work, turn to faith. Sometimes, your test is simply a call to turn toward Allah (SWT), to surrender what you cannot control.
  • Recite and reflect on the following powerful Qur'anic verses:
  • "Indeed, with hardship [comes] ease."
    (Surah Ash-Sharh, 94:6)

  • "And He found you lost and guided [you]."
    (Surah Ad-Duha, 93:7)

  • “So remember Me; I will remember you.”
    (Surah Al-Baqarah, 2:152)

  • “Call upon Me; I will respond to you.”
    (Surah Ghafir, 40:60)

  • “Hasbiyallahu la ilaha illa Huwa ‘alayhi tawakkaltu wa Huwa Rabbul-‘Arshil-‘Azeem.”
    (Surah At-Tawbah, 9:129)
“Allah is Sufficient for me; there is no deity except Him. On Him I have relied, and He is the Lord of the Great Throne.”

  • In your lowest moments, talk to Allah like a friend, like a guide. Cry to Him, make dua from the heart. Even if your voice trembles, even if all you can say is, “Help me, Ya Allah”—that is enough. He hears the silent tears.

"In Search of the Source"

"When the soul reconnects with its true source, the inner light returns — not as a small spark, but as a bright flame that guides, heals, and brings us back to the Divine."

The soul is a part of the Divine, a piece of the Almighty that exists in each of us, guiding our journey through life. Though we live in the material world, the essence of our soul is not bound by it. It is a reflection of something far greater, a reminder of the divine connection we all share. This connection is not just a distant memory, but an ongoing journey, one that calls the soul to remember its true home, its Creator.

This yearning within us is not just a feeling, but a deeper calling, a sacred invitation to rediscover our purpose. The soul’s purpose is to experience life, not merely as a series of events, but as opportunities for connection — connection to ourselves, to others, and ultimately, to the Divine. Each interaction, each moment of joy or sorrow, is a chance for the soul to reconnect, to learn, and to grow.

In its journey, the soul becomes a mirror of the Divine. Through acts of kindness, compassion, and love, it reflects the beauty of the Creator. It becomes a channel for peace, a beacon of light in a world that can sometimes feel dark. When the soul embraces love, it transcends the boundaries of fear and doubt, choosing instead to radiate warmth and understanding.

The challenges we face are not merely obstacles; they are the soul’s way of deepening its understanding and connection to the Divine. Every trial is an opportunity to grow stronger in faith, to learn to trust, and to become more aligned with the Creator’s will. The soul, through these experiences, learns that true strength comes not from resistance, but from surrendering to the flow of life with grace and trust.

As the soul moves through its journey, it learns that it is never truly alone. It is always supported by the Divine presence, always guided by the light of truth. Even in the darkest moments, the soul is never lost. It is always being called back to its Source, always being gently led toward peace, fulfillment, and the ultimate joy of unity with the Divine.

The soul's greatest fulfillment comes when it learns to listen to this inner calling, to embrace its divine nature, and to live each day with a heart full of love, humility, and gratitude. It is in these moments, when the soul is aligned with its true purpose, that it finds peace. The soul is then able to live in the flow of divine energy, creating harmony and beauty not only within itself but also in the world around it.

In the end, the soul’s purpose is to realize that it is not separate from the Divine, but an essential part of it. When it recognizes this connection, it experiences the true freedom of living in alignment with the Creator’s will — a life of deep fulfillment, peace, and love. Through this awareness, the soul becomes a true reflection of the Divine, radiating light and love wherever it goes.

When You Are Wounded, Remember Ad-Duha

When You Are Wounded, Remember Ad-Duha

Surah Ad-Duha — When God Speaks to Your Wounded Heart

There are moments in life when everything just feels... heavy.
Your chest aches, but no one can see it.
You smile, but it doesn't reach your eyes.
You pray, but you wonder, "Is anyone really listening?"

And then — you come across Surah Ad-Duha.

It's like a warm sunrise after a night full of tears.
It's like someone gently holding your hand and saying,
"Hey… you’re not alone. I’m still here."

A Moment in the Prophet’s Life — Just Like Ours

Did you know that even the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) felt this way once?
There was a time when he didn’t receive revelation for a while.
No messages from the heavens.
Silence. Doubt crept in. People started talking.
"Maybe Allah has left him..."

His heart must’ve felt like ours does when we feel lost — unsure, scared, maybe even forgotten.
But then came Surah Ad-Duha.

And it began with the most beautiful reminder:

"By the morning brightness, and the night when it grows still —
your Lord has not left you, and He has not forgotten you."
(93:1-3)

Can you feel it?
The Creator of the universe, softly telling His beloved:
"I’m still here. I was always here. And I will never leave you."

A Chapter That Speaks to All of Us

The beauty of Surah Ad-Duha is that although it was sent to comfort the Prophet (PBUH),
it speaks to every single one of us — especially when we feel broken.

You read it, and it’s as if God is talking directly to you.

“Didn’t I find you lost and guided you?
Didn’t I find you in need and take care of you?”
(93:7-8)

It’s like Allah is gently reminding you of all the times you thought it was the end…
but somehow, you made it through.
All the nights you cried yourself to sleep…
but still woke up to a new day.
You were never really alone —
He was just carrying you in ways you couldn’t see.

When You’re at Your Lowest — Read Ad-Duha

This Surah is a secret weapon for the soul.
A healing verse for every wounded heart.

When life feels dark —
When you feel unseen —
When you start doubting your worth —

Take a breath.
Find a quiet corner.
And read Surah Ad-Duha slowly, softly.

Let each verse wrap around your pain like a warm hug.
Let it remind you:

✨ You are not forgotten.
✨ You are not alone.
✨ Your dawn is coming.

And just like Allah promised the Prophet…
“Soon your Lord will give you, and you will be satisfied.”
(93:5)

Yes, you will smile again.
Yes, you will heal.
Yes, light will return.

Surah Ad-Duha is more than just words.
It’s a love letter from God — to every broken, tired, anxious heart.

And every time you read it, it softly whispers:
"I never left you. I never will."

What is stress

Stress

Stress is a natural, physical, and emotional response to situations that the brain perceives as challenging or threatening. It triggers the body’s fight-or-flight response, which prepares you to either confront or avoid danger. While short-term stress can help you stay alert and motivated, chronic or long-term stress can have harmful effects on your physical and mental health. :

Types of Stress:

  1. Acute Stress: A short-term response to an immediate challenge, such as an upcoming deadline or a sudden event. It usually subsides after the situation is resolved.
  2. Chronic Stress: Long-term stress caused by ongoing pressures, such as work problems, relationship issues, or financial difficulties. Chronic stress can lead to serious health problems over time.

Common Causes of Stress:

  • Work or school pressure
  • Financial difficulties
  • Relationship conflicts
  • Health problems
  • Life changes (e.g., moving, loss of a loved one)
  • Daily hassles (e.g., traffic, deadlines)

Effects of Prolonged Stress:

  • Physical health issues: High blood pressure, heart disease, weakened immune system
  • Mental health problems: Anxiety, depression, burnout
  • Behavioral changes: Poor sleep, unhealthy eating habits, withdrawal from social interactions .
  •  Stress management techniques such as relaxation, mindfulness, exercise, and therapy can help reduce the impact of stress on your life.

2. Emotional State Evaluation

  • Are you feeling more irritable, anxious, or easily frustrated than usual?
  • Do you find yourself feeling overwhelmed or unable to relax?

3. Cognitive Function Test

  • Is it harder to concentrate or remember things lately?
  • Are you more indecisive or having difficulty organizing tasks?

4. Behavioral Indicators

  • Are you withdrawing from social situations or relationships?
  • Do you find yourself procrastinating more, or avoiding responsibilities?
  • Are you turning to unhealthy coping mechanisms (e.g., overeating, smoking, or excessive screen time)?

5. Mindfulness Check

  • Are you able to stay in the present moment, or do you often feel like your mind is racing?
  • How frequently do you practice relaxation techniques or mindfulness?

6. Productivity and Motivation

  • Has your productivity decreased, or are you struggling to find motivation for tasks?
  • Are you setting unrealistic expectations or goals for yourself?

7. Emotional and Social Support

  • Do you feel supported by friends, family, or colleagues?
  • Are you open to expressing your feelings or concerns, or do you suppress them?

After evaluating these areas, you can gain a clearer picture of your stress levels. If you recognize multiple signs of stress, it may be time to implement relaxation techniques or seek support.

A Journey Through Color: Healing Minds with Art Therapy

As a photographer and art therapist, I have always been mesmerized by the magic of colors. Whether capturing the vibrant hues of fashion, the serene shades of a landscape, or the intricate details of a painting, color has been my muse and my medium. My journey with color didn’t stop at the lens of a camera; it extended into the very spaces we inhabit. When I designed interiors, my mission was to find the perfect balance of colors to create harmony and peace.

This deep-rooted fascination with color's power led me to a transformative path: art therapy. I immersed myself in the study of how colors can influence our mental state, bringing light into the darkest corners of our minds. I began giving art therapy sessions, eager to understand how different hues could heal and uplift. Each session was a testament to color’s potential to turn sorrow into solace, anxiety into calm, and confusion into clarity.

Whenever I felt lost or overwhelmed, I turned to the palette. I brought colors into my brain to chase away the darkness, painting my way to healing. This personal journey reinforced my belief in the power of art therapy. Now, more than ever, I am dedicated to sharing this colorful healing process with others

I am dedicated to serving humanity through the power of color. Together, let's create a brighter, healthier world where mental wellness becomes a vibrant reality.

For those who seek healing, for those who seek light, let’s embark on this colorful journey together.
